Extra Credit Opportunity
· Attend one performance of a local drama production, turn in a ticket and program, and write a paragraph of 6-8 sentences describing what you saw and heard. Convince me that you were there. Extra credit: you will get a 100 in place of your lowest major grade for the semester. This extra credit may not be used for any assignment for which you got a zero (test not taken, assignment not turned in, etc.).
· You may turn in one extra credit assignment for each semester. The extra credit work is due the next class day after the performance you attended. Deadline for 1st semester is December 9; deadline for 2nd semester is May 20.
· Drama performances must be local productions at Prattville High School Drama Department, Prattville or Millbrook or Wetumpka Community Theatre, colleges (AUM, Huntingdon, Faulkner) or Alabama Shakespeare Festival. If you want to attend a play at another venue, you must get it approved before you go if you plan to use the production for extra credit.
